   We are glad to add The Worlds Foundation to the network of partners helping us do groundbreaking work to fill a crucial gap for families on the way from housing insecurity to a safer, brighter future. The Peace Family Housing Project was conceived in 2021. Peace Lutheran Church saw a need in the community to provide transitional housing for families experiencing homelessness, and saw that churches are perfectly positioned to help. With the partnership of HomeAid Austin, Foundation for the Homeless, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, The Worlds Foundation, and so many others...our dream to be the change we want to see in the world is coming true. Design is underway for a new facility on Peace’s North Austin campus. We plan to be operational in 2025 with Foundation for the Homeless providing services for about 24 families per year. ... and the senior veterans we support, thank you for your honor donation. Your donation will be used to send deserving veterans to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. in 2023. Since 2012 we have taken over 3,000 World War II, Korea, and Vietnam veterans on a "Trip of a Lifetime" thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, and other organizations. (2022-2023)

... we were getting ready for our biggest fundraising day of the year: Fans From Fans. Thanks to the Worlds Foundation, our generous community, and our friends at KXAN and Whittlesey Landscape Supplies, we collected $224,738 and 848 fans over the weekend 🤩!! (2022)

... you have made it possible for us to distribute 2,878 fans to 3,893 Central Texas neighbors. 

    One of these neighbors you helped is a gentleman who contacted us for free fans. When we met with him, we found out that he was also facing eviction. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to give him fans and connect him to a Family Eldercare case manager. Now, he has access to rental and utility assistance and can stay cool in his own home.
